Chamber Committees

If you would like to get involved with growing Mason County's economic health through the Chamber, joining one of our business building committees is the ideal place to start. Ambassadors Committee

The Ambassadors serve as the Chamber's "welcome wagon" at Chamber events and to new businesses in town. Ambassadors welcome and serve as contacts for new members to the Chamber. The Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month at noon at Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club. 2011 Committee Chair is Susanna Samuelson.

Business Expo & Bite of Shelton Committee

The Business Expo & Bite of Shelton Committee is responsible for promoting and overseeing annual events designed to introduce the community to it's businesses and business owners. The 2012 Business Expo joint chairs are Patti Tupper and Michelle Corral.

Beautification Committee

Each year the Shelton-Mason County chamber takes on the responsibility of beautifying out community. Our chamber membership graciously supports this effort and each year it's worth it! Visitors and community members alike comment on what a beautiful difference this annual commitment makes to our area. The 2011 Committee chair is Patti Tupper.

Chamber Leads Group

The Chamber Leads Groups work to give exclusive chances to Chamber businesses for networking and community awareness in Mason County.Two different Chamber Leads Groups meet regularly onTuesday mornings at 7:30 am for a breakfast meeting and Wednesdays at 11:30 am for lunch. Meetings are facilitated by Berti S. Brodsky and Melanie Bakala.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee is responsible for monitoring and facilitating discussion related to local, state and federal government impacts that may positively or adversely affect the business community of Shelton-Mason County. Any member may attend Committee meetings and provide input. Meetings are scheduled the first Tuesday of each month, 7:30am at Rooster's Restaurant, 3001 Olympic Hwy N in Shelton. The 2011 Committee chair is Julie Sund Nichols

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee develops and implements programs that work to market Mason County Businesses through its Chamber Members. The Committee meets at 8:00 AM on the third Wednesday of each month in the Chamber Board Room. 2011 Committee Chair is Kathryn Kamin.

Member Services Committee

The Member Services Committee develops and implements the Chamber's member benefit programs and efforts to grow the Chamber's membership. The Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the Month at noon at Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club. 2011 Committee Chair is Drew MacEwen.

Shelton Alliance for Viable Economic Revitalization (SAVER)

SAVER advocates and supports enhanced economic vitality and improved quality of life for Shelton residents. They envision to enable Shelton’s Downtown Core, through partnerships, capital improvements, events, programs, and marketing, to supporting existing and attract new businesses; promote beautification efforts and invest, encourage pride in ownership, while boosting long-term revenues; and work to improve Downtown Shelton’s image, enhance the pedestrian experience, and continually strive to reduce office and storefront vacancies, support residential development, while enhancing retail synergy.. The Committee meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Nita's Restaurant & Gallery, at 7:00 AM. Committee Chair is Bob Houle.
