Chamber Online Database Instructions

Dear Members,

This page is dedicated to help you manage and use the features included with the Chamber Master program.

As you have heard, with this program you can create a personal page for your business that is shown in our Business Directory and used during searches on search engines such as Google. In addition, you can:

-Add/Remove Events

-Add/Remove Hot Deals offered by your business

-Add/Remove Jobs available at your location

-Manage your one-page site

-Update business information

-And A LOT more!

STEP 1)

Go to "Member's Corner" and click "LOGIN" button in the middle of the page. You will be redirected to the Chamber Master web site.

STEP 2)

Enter your login and password that was provided to you when you joined the Chamber.
(If you don't have it, e-mail or call us with request (360) 426-2021 or info@sheltonchamber.org)

STEP 3)

You should now be on the default home page. Listed below are more specific instructions about what is offered from each option listed on the menu which is displayed on the left side of the web page.



Home

Displays a summary of your membership package. This is the default page that you will be shown when you log in.


Find Members

Where you can search for other members and representatives by company name, representative name, phone or fax number, email address or business category.


Member Info

Business Info

Change the info about your business such as address, phone numbers, e-mail, key contact information and so on. Also, you can add/remove employees or representatives of your business/association.

IMPORTANT: Do not forget to click "Save" at the bottom of the page once you are done making changes.

Bus. Categories

View the business category which we have listed your business under. If you wish to edit your categories in any way, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Employees/Reps

Update information on your employees or business representatives. We strongly recommend that you keep this page updated, especially for the main contact person so that the Chamber may have your information for advertising and event information.

Login/Password

Change your login name and password to anything you think is appropriate. Please note that if your login name matches with another business, you will be notified by the following message:

 "Login Name/Password Not Saved - The login name Landmark is not available. Please choose another login name."

In this case, try to create another login name. If you forget either your login name or password, call or email the Chamber and we will provide it for

 

Web page Info


Web Page Info

Customize the content of your business member page that is included in your membership.

     Whatever you choose to say about your business is what people will see when searching for your business/association.  Keywords are important! It is one of the main ways visitors/guests find your business on our web site directory and on search engines.

Map Pin Info The "Map Pin" page is where you can personally change where your business will appear on map services such as Google Maps, Mapquest, etc. You have the option of using your physical address provided in your business information, a custom address, or manually entering the coordinates yourself. A picture on the right shows where you are currently located according to Google Maps. If desirable, you may click and drag your marker to a point of your choosing.
Photos and Logos Upload your logo and other images that you think are an accurate representation of your business.
Keywords During a search by a consumer, these keywords are used to find your business. They are also used for searches for your business on search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
Links From this page you can create URL's (links) that can be used to link from your web site to your Member page on Chamber Master. If you do not have a business web page, there is a link on this page providing instructions on how to create one.
View Homepage By clicking this link a new window will open which displays your personal member page exactly how it will appear to viewers.

Advertising

Hot Deals Here you can advertise any discounts, deals, rebates, etc. available through your business/association. Fill in the provided fields and follow the on screen instructions once you click "Add a Hot Deal". Hot Deals are shown on your business page and are advertised on any computer that views your page. Completely free of charge. Save money on printing costs and distribution fees.
Job Postings Advertise job openings at your business. Fill in the provided fields and follow the on screen instructions once you click "Add a Job Posting".
Events Submit an event for our online calendar which is shown on our web site and used in our weekly email communication. Click "Add an Event" and fill out the form. Public events must be approved by the Chamber before the final posting.

User Manuals

This is where Chamber Master provides an online user manual with specific instructions and information on how to create your own web page. The User Guide is also avaliable HERE. Both items are in .PDF form. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to view them.

Log Out
